Although progress in the material world slows down for you in 2012, you have a wonderful opportunity to step back and take a look at the bigger picture of life.

As a 1 Water year is essentially a time of stillness you can now reflect on those areas of your life that have been pushed to one side while you have made your way in the world. Through looking deeply into yourself you can discover important knowledge that will contribute towards the development of a long term view of how you want your future to take shape,

As you will be short on physical and emotional resources you should make sure that you keep track of your finances: you should hang on to what you have in case of some emergency and make no big expenditures. Old health issues may also come up so be prepared for some down time, in fact you might want to get a bit more sleep to help recharge your batteries.

You are feeling more intuitive now which may make you more sensitive to people. You can use this to better understand your relationships, but aware that you might develop an unfounded fear over getting too close to people. Especially as they may actually seem more distant than usual as a result of you withdrawing to renew yourself. So do try to be clear in your communications, and share with people what it is that's on your mind, your be surprised at the positive reaction you get.

Taking time to develop yourself through study and meditation will have the greatest benefit, as rushing to achieve new heights and ambitions is now not advisable. Changing work or home will simply drain you of what few emotional and energetic resources you do have, so it is best to bow to the wisdom of nature and go with the flow, rather than forcing her to bend to your will.

 

Your 2 Earth Nature

The quality of Earth 2  displays both a gentle, mild aspect and a tenacious strong will that brings success through hard work. This quality is symbolized by the receptivity of Mother Earth, so whether you are male of female there is a distinctly nurturing quality to your way of being.

This cautious, conservative nature enables to you build up experience slowly in settings where you are part of a group or larger plan, although you should be careful not to look up too much to those in higher positions of authority as they can easily take  advantage of you.

As you are always thinking of and looking after other people the challenge in your life is to look after yourself, as your tendency to pour energy into others can otherwise leave you exhausted. It is also important that you receive acknowledgment for what you do otherwise you may lose confidence in yourself.

Learning to look after yourself and taking your time to get things done without getting too involved in all the detail, will help prevent you from thinking so much and instead enable you to help others more effectively.
