Yeshé Dorjé died near Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1993, and then for twelve years I continued to live and practice as a Ngakpa in isolation from the mainstream Nyingma community. In 2004 I was fortunate enough to meet Ven. Lopon P. Ogyan Tanzin Rinpoché in Littlebourne Kent on his first visit to the U. K. He received the transmission of the Wrathful Black Mother from H.H. Dudjom Rinpoché at the same time as Ngakchang Yeshé Dorjé Rinpoché and was now giving this empowerment at a retreat organised through the tireless efforts of Ngakpa Ga'wang. There now exists the European Sangha of Ogyan chokhor ling whose activities include holding an annual two week retreat in Kent, teachings in London and Macclesfield, as well as an annual weekend retreat in Glasgow hosted by myself and partner Steph. This year Rinpoche has invited to his home in Saranath for our annual retreat See our website for more details.
